The Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 13 Women’s Committee is dedicated to empowering, uplifting, and supporting the women who have served our nation with courage and commitment. We recognize the unique challenges women veterans face and work to ensure they receive the benefits, resources, and recognition they deserve.

Our Mission

  • Advocate for the needs of women veterans and their families.

  • Provide a safe space for women to connect, share experiences, and build lasting bonds.

  • Organize outreach programs to raise awareness of the contributions and sacrifices of women in the military.

  • Support the overall mission of DAV while highlighting the voices and perspectives of women.

What We Do

  • Outreach & Support – Assisting women veterans with navigating VA benefits, healthcare, and local resources.

  • Community Engagement – Hosting events, workshops, and drives to strengthen connections among women veterans and the community.

  • Recognition & Honor – Celebrating the service and sacrifices of women veterans throughout history.

  • Mentorship – Guiding younger generations of women service members and veterans with encouragement and support.
