VETERANS – we have several qualified CSO’s or Chapter Service Officers, and FOUR of our  CSOs  are women veterans –  here to help you handle your claims, or just answer your questions.  

All of our Service Officers are unpaid, dedicated veteran VOLUNTEERS

FIRST COME FIRST SERVED – NO APPOINTMENTS 

OPERATING HOURS FOR VETERANS BENEFIT WORK ARE MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS  AND FRIDAYS FROM 0900 TO 1300 HRS. FROM 1300-1400 FOR QUESTIONS ONLY

TO: ALL CHAPTER #13 MEMBERS AND/OR VISITORS

    • Our Chapter Service Officers are VOLUNTEERS and totally dedicated and qualified.  

    • There may be only one or two Claim Service Officers (CSO) in the office on a given day, but we often have 3 or 4.  Each CSO will work with one visitor at a time.

    • First come first serve; there are no appointments.

    • Social distancing will be practiced and masks will be worn when necessary or asked.

    • If you have a fever, a cough, or any symptoms relative to a cold, flu or corona virus, please stay home, and return when you have no symptoms.

    • If you have been exposed to someone with the corona virus, please do not come unless you have been quarantined for 14 days.

SPECIAL EVENTS 

Emergency Relief (ER)/Homeless assistance can be provided by visiting the DAV Chapter #13 office or by emailing er@dav13va.com .  If you do not hear back from us within 2 working days, please call (757) 596-0062.

This is DAV #13 Victory Chapter headquarters at 1700-E  George Washington Mem Hwy, Yorktown, VA 23693.  We host other Veteran Service Organizations such as Douglas W. Hogge & Allen M. Tate Memorial Post 824 (Cmdr Dan Seabolt), DAV #13 Auxiliary (Commander Sabrina Yazwinsky), and the  Desert Storm American Legion Desert Post 199 (Cmdr: Arnette McSwain).  We also host Brownie Troop 1479 (Ldr: Amanda M. Stephens)

NO APPOINTMENTS – JUST WALK IN

 Our Chapter Service Officer’s (CSO’s) and staff are trained to assist you in applying for Veterans Administrations benefits that you have earned as a result of military service to your country.

FILE YOUR CLAIM WITH US

DAV Chapter #13 has Service Officers (CSOs) that are trained and have the necessary knowledge and skills to help you through that filing process. Visiting our office gives you an informal but professional environment where you can be at ease and talk freely to any of our CSOs about your special needs.
